3d Images Without Glasses. Finally.

Posted August 20th 2010 by in archive

Last month, Sony showcased its “360-Degree Autostereoscopic Display Prototype”, otherwise known as “RayModeler”. Being an avid Star Wars fan, I jumped at the chance to preview an emerging technology which may one day allow me one day to casually flick up a hologram of my Vauxhall Nova from my palm, while trying to persuade the salesman that it really is worth two hundred republican credits. Looking at the video, the technology invoked is truly astounding, giving rise to something that marks a significant step in the world of image displays. Take a look and see what you think.

On a side note, apologies for the lack of game reviews lately, be sure to expect a hefty one within the next couple of weeks, as ever bursting with wit, cunning and rugged good looks.
