I’ve been meaning to do this review for the last couple of weeks, fairly ironic as it turns out!
It’s extremely easy to put things off, sometimes even forget about them (intentionally or otherwise…) entirely. On a bad day I can be fairly horrendous (understatements make me feel better), if you’re in the same boat as me HassleMe could be the answer you’ve been looking for.
Remember when you were younger (back in the days of the magic washing basket and the refilling fridge) and your Mum used to nag you about your homework? Well this is the email equivalent. A simple interface allows you to specify whatever you want to be reminded about, how often (ish, the emails are semi-unpredictable to keep you on your toes) and your email address.
Once that’s done you’ll get a confirmation email (in order to stop your friends setting one up reminding you about that night when you got drunk and chased after a bunch of girls with a lollypop… Thwarted again!) and you should be sorted, prepare to start receiving (occasionally annoying), but ultimately useful emails.
It may just help you to finally get that thing you’re going to do at the weekend actually done at the weekend!
I think it’s a great idea and can see myself using it quite a lot. Hopefully they’ll add in a bit more functionality (such as being able to specify only getting a reminder during the weekend) in the near future and I’ll be completely sold.
Check them out here. (For those of you who can’t be bothered to scroll up to the other link!)
